A short guide to Mallorca and Menorca

Here's a taste of what is expected of each island ...

MENORCA - The smaller of the two islands, hence the name, Menorca (Minorca aka) has a lot of couples and family resort, and almost as many beaches as Majorca and Ibiza, both combined. Among the most famous resorts Cala'n Bosch, Santo Tomas, Cala Galdana Ciutadella. Each offers something different, but bring all the families and to enjoy arelaxing holiday. Menorca's capital Mahon, whose largest city, which has about 20,000 inhabitants and offers a variety of good restaurants and bars near his door.

Mallorca is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe, with many Britons and Germans flock to its shores. While Menorca may be more quieter life as a scene as opposed to a vibrant social, Majorca offers the best of both. Places like Magaluf and Palma Nova are particularlylively, full of bars and clubs, the audience moves 18-30. Other places like Alcudia, Cala d'Or Puerto de Soller beach are more concentrated, with a magnificent golden beach, but will have enough bars and restaurants attract many tourists.

Both islands have to offer great value - no matter whether you are looking for a quiet week, read a book by a swimming pool, or soak up the sun by day and night of celebration.
